Our new church halls were opened by Bishop Mike in October 2016, offering fantastic facilities for both the church and the wider community.

The Barnabas Building consists of three interconnecting halls that can be opened up to create a space that can seat up up to 280 people and has a fully equipped professional kitchen and garden. The halls are also available to hire.

The work was financed through the re:new project, which has so far raised nearly £2 million, through the generous gifts of our congregation and other individuals, grants from various bodies and the proceeds of some fantastic fund-raising events. We achieved our initial target, but there were additional costs to do with equipping the building, professional costs and other items that mean we still have some loans to repay. We also hope to be in a position in the next year or so to join the Barnabas building with the adjacent Lydia building, creating one integrated set of halls and offices.

There will be more news during 2018 about our plans to pay off these loans and to prepare for Phase Two - in the meantime, if you would like to contribute to re:new please click here (and choose Building Fund) or use the contact form at the bottom of the page to get in touch.
